Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U Release Date News: Nintendo To Launch The New Title ‘As Soon As Possible’ As Game Nears Completion

"Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U" release date may just already be in the horizon.

A new update was posted about the Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U release date As posted on Examiner, the game director, Masahiro Sakurai revealed fresh revelations regarding the highly-anticipated Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U release date.

According to Masahiro's column from the most recent issue of Famitsu, a gaming magazine, the production of the Super Smash Bros. 4 for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS could be nearing its completion already and furthermore, the team is already at the stage where they are likely to release the fighting game as immediately as possible.

He specifically said, "We're at a stage where we'd like to release the new title as soon as possible, andoffer something more enjoyable than ever."

And as for more updates regarding the development of Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U and 3DS, Escapist Magazine shared that Sakurai is currently "working on character adjustment to Bowser", Mario's main antagonist in the game. In Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U, it can be expected that that Bowser will be stronger as ever, but the creator is also making sure that he balances his strengths "some inherent weaknesses is important."

Sakurai noted, "Doing things like simply 'lower the performance' can make games lose its fun. Additionally, making a strong attack weaker can take away from the 'good feeling.' By making adjustments that get rid of all advantages and disadvantages, it can turn a game into a mediocre one without any challenge."
He further shared, "Rather than directly weakening an attack's advantageous parts, we're putting effort into keeping them strong, while adding other weaknesses to them. Like giving the attacks punishable openings, or weakening the character's mobility or recovery rate. We're making comprehensive adjustments to characters, even for parts that might seem completely irrelevant."

Though a firm and a specific Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U release date has not been revealed yet, fans of the Nintendo fighting game can expect more news about it in the coming days and weeks.
