According to USA Today, Samsung is making a straight pitch for curved Ultra HD TVs. It’s showing off its mammoth 105-inch curved Ultra HD display at the Consumer Electronics Show and it has also announced that it has plans for 55-inch, 65-inch and 78-inch curved UHD sets.

Samsung’s curve display deliver “even more lifelike picture quality with more depth” according to HS Kim, executive vice president of the visual displays business at Samsung Electronics, USA Today reports. The Samsung executive compared the experience to 3-D and IMAX. “You can feel the effect,” Kim said.

Ultra HD offers four times the resolution of current HDTVs in the market and the new display has received a lot of attention from the South Korean tech giant. Aside from the 110-inch UHD TV that was announced, there will also be new TVs in the product line from 50 to 75 inches.

The company will also add streaming ULTRA HD content through its Smart Hub and partners including Amazon, M-GO, Netflix, Comcast and DirectTV.

Aside from the ULTRA HD TV line, Samsung is also launching new tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro and Samsung Galaxy Note Pro. In a report by The Verge, the two new devices were shown on a billboard posted yesterday evening at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The devices were unveiled today and CNET notes that the new tablets are a significant step toward the company leaving behind the traditional Android interface, in favor of something more immediate and graphical. Both the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro will have Wi-Fi and LTE versions, with 3G in some international markets, and is expected to be available by the first quarter of 2014.
