Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Android-Powered Nokia Normandy May Still See The Light Of Day, Appears In Alleged Leaked Images Running KitKat

If you are a Nokia fan and waiting for upcoming Nokia phones in 2014, then one particular handset you may be rooting for is the Android-powered Normandy.

Leaked as far as November last year, this handset would be the Finnish manufacturer's first ever Android device, if ever it would be launched.

Now, several leaked screencaps of the device show it running on Android KitKat. In three leaked images from notorious leakster EV Leaks, the Nokia Normandy, we see the Droid running on some apps such as Viber and Skype. The homescreen also shows that the phone might actually be a dual-SIM device.

In addition, the Normandy has reportedly been seen running on the AnTuTu benchmark. Dubbed as Nokia RM-980 A110, the phone packs a 4-inch display with FWGA (480 x 854) resolution, a 5-megapixel camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Apart from that, we don't know much about the upcoming Nokia phone. Previous reports claim that Microsoft has already stopped the team that has been working on the device. Meanwhile, there are also rumors that even after the Microsoft acquisition, some Nokia employees would be left behind and finish the Android phone.

We just need to take all of these rumors with a grain of salt until official announcements have been made.
