Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: Rumored Galaxy Note 3 Lite Is In Fact Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Looks Like A Refurbished Note 2

There are lots of upcoming Samsung phones in 2014, one of which is the most awaited flagship for the Galaxy S lineup, the S5. However, there are also a number of honorable mentions which have also piqued our interest in the past few weeks. One of these alleged handsets is the Galaxy Note 3 Lite.

But now, an exclusive report from GSM Arena says that the rumored device is actually named Galaxy Note 3 Neo.

While we have all come to believe that the Galaxy Note 3 Lite will feature the same design and dimensions as the Note flagship, the report tells us otherwise. Instead of the Note 3's design, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo would borrow the dimensions and design of the Note 2 instead.

Some of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo's specs include a 5.55" 720p Super AMOLED display, an 8MP camera, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. There is also a new 1.7GHz dual + 1.3GHz quad-core (Hexa) processor that runs on the Note 3 Neo. While we haven't yet observed how such a processor works, the 'hexa' in it certainly makes it promising.

Aside from the specs above and a 3,100mAh battery, we don't know much about the Galaxy Note 3 Neo except that it may be unveiled during the MWC event in Barcelona in February.
