Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out To Asus Fonepad 7, Brings Improved UI And Better Video Player

Released back in September, no one expected that the Asus Fonepad 7 would get the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, especially after it failed to hit sweet spot among consumers. But make no mistake about it, the device is surely a great buy particularly for people who can't get enough of a tablet, but also want to have the ordinary smartphone experience.

Now, the Android slate is getting its first major update.

In the report by GSM Arena, the Asus Fonepad 7 can now receive the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update through the device's phone settings. Some of the changes which come with the update include a better video player, gallery, Gallery Home Front, and more fluid user experience.

The update also brought other system and security features which would help the Fonepad 7 function properly.

Originally shipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the Asus Fonepad 7 sure has brighter future as it gets updated in the midst of other Droid slates. Let us just hope the Taiwanese manufacturer is still willing to update the device up to Android 4.4 KitKat.
