CES 2014 Recap, Day 2: Pandora Aims For More Dashboard, The Best TVs In The Planet, Sony’s Latest 4K Camcorder; The Latest & Best Of CES In Case You Missed It

CES 2014 Recap, Day 2: International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is now in its Day 3 and in case you missed some highlights from Day 2 of the event, USA Today shares some of the things that happened last Wednesday.

PANDORA AIMS FOR MORE DRIVERS’ DASHBOARDS

Pandora, one of the industry’s leading streaming music companies sets its sights on more car dashboards in 2014. The company is meeting with several carmakers at the CES to get Pandora integrated into more driver’s dashboards.

SAMSUNG, SHARP UNVEIL ULTRA HD TVs AND MORE

Sharp’s 65-inch TV with 8K and glasses-free 3D and all the numerous UHDTVs that Samsung is launching are just a few of the tubes (or slim frames) on display at CES this week. Some of the stunning visuals seen in the newest TVs of today are on curved, and even bendable displays. Vizio is vying for the biggest Ultra HD TV display. It stretches to 120 inches. Talk about changing the meaning of home entertainment.

SONY’S GROUNDBREAKING 4K CAMCORDER

It’s the first consumer camcorder that will shoot in 4K and it’s yours for $1,999. The electronics giant, which is also released two new handsets at the CES, is giving consumers the ability to film things in the highest quality possible. A 4K recording is known to be four times better than the standard HD.

CES ends tomorrow and we’re expecting more new releases and announcements as the day progresses.
