JTBC ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ recent episode aired on April 14 revealed Eric’s personal life.

Eric shared his niece who is living in America. His niece had sent him a video of herself dancing to Eric's ‘samba' dance brightening up Eric while playing the video.

He commented, "My niece is in America so I can't play with her often but she likes me very much. She always watches my shows. She sends me text right after watching the shows.”
