Lee Hyori ‘Idol Breakup Reason is Disharmony’

Lee Hyori former member of idol group Fin.K.L. garnered attention for her remark for the reason behind the breakup of most idol groups.

SBS ‘You & I’ featured Shinhwa making their comeback after 4 years performing new songs as well as past hit songs.

MC Lee Hyori shared, “I think it’s amazing that you guys are still with the same members all these years in your 30s. For now regardless of the quality of the song I think the fact that group still exists itself is amazing.”

Jung Jae Hyung asked, “What is the reason it makes the groups difficult to stay together?’ Hyori then answered ‘It’s because of disharmony. The team states a different reason for the breakup, but the truth is that most groups break up because of the disharmony among members. Aren’t there many times that you are in disharmony between members?” Then Shinhwa also answered, “Yes.”

In reality Shinhwa had more disagreements than other groups however the group was able to stay together because of their positive attitudes of its members. Lee Hyori explained that for Shinhwa the grouped discussed and argued about their differences instead of holding it all inside.

Shinhwa mentioned, “Our arguments that we have seems to become an issues but that doesn’t mean you should argue about everything.”
