Big Bang To Meet Fans in 160 Countries Through ‘MTV World Stage’

YG Entertainment announced Big Bang will feature ‘MTV World Stage – Big Bang ALIVE’ to meet their fans in 160 countries before the start of world tour.

The group that is to embark on their first world tour will visit 25 cities in 16 countries will be featured in MTV World Stage the show that began in 2009 airing clips from live concerts of globally renowned artists with the aim to deliver a wide variety of genres. The past artists who have been featured include Coldplay, Oasis, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas.

MTV World Stage – Big Bang ALIVE will broadcast on May 4 will present the groups performances of tracks from fifth mini-album Alive.

The show will highlight performances of ‘Bad Boy,’ ‘Fantastic Baby,’ and ‘Blue’ from the Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 in Seoul in February along with more performances Alive and interviews that was revealed through ‘YG On Air.’

Big Bang was the first Asian group to win Worldwide Act Award at MTV EMA beating out popular artist such as Britney Spears and now is followed up by being featured in the show. It’s expected to draw in much anticipation from fans eagerly waiting for Big Bang’s world tour to come to their countries.

‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012’ is to make its way over in Japan from May.
