Jude Law Hacking Scandal; British Actor Admits Confronting Daniel Craig Who Had An Affair With Ex Wife Sienna Miller

British actor Jude Law has claimed that his phone was hacked while in the United States, an incident that dragged him to scandals.

The 41-year old actor told a British court during a phone-hacking trial involving Rupert Murdoch's now-defunct 'News of the World." He said that the Murdoch-owned show hacked his phone and paid family members for stories including a row with Daniel Craig who had an affair with his girlfriend back then, Sienna Miller.

Law told the court that while he was in the U.S. filming Cold Mountain and Alfie, the phone numbers of his American agent and cell phones he had been given by the film studio appeared in the notebooks of a private investigator working for the News of the World. He said he was shown the list of numbers by police officers. "One of the numbers that appeared on the notes was an agent... and several other numbers I'd been loaned," he told the court. "They were able to follow me not just in this country but abroad as well."

During the trial, Law, known for playing Dr. Watson in the movie Sherlock Holmes, was forced to answer questions regarding the affair between James Bond actor Daniel Craig and his ex-wife, Sienna Miller.

The prosecutor asked if he was aware about the cheating, he answered "Yes...indeed I was."

The lawyer then questioned the phone calls he made to Craig who he confronted and urged to admit the cheating to James Bond actor's then-wife Satsuki Mitchell.

"We had known each other many, many years, so the conversation took on all sorts of turns," Law explained.

"I didn't know anyone around me was talking to the newspapers," Law said when asked if he is aware that his family members received cash back in 2005 in exchange for information about him.

"Over the following four or five years the daily appearance of packs of photographers either on the street or in cars became a very regular occurrence."
