Upcoming HTC Phones 2014: Rumor Claims One M8 Would Be HTC's First Handset To Get On-Screen Buttons

If you are on the lookout for upcoming HTC phones for 2014, particularly the next generation One 2 (M8), then you definitely need to hear (or read) this.

According to notorious leakster EV Leaks, the HTC M8 could be the the company's first phone to ditch the traditional capacitive buttons and switch to on-screen ones.

If this rumor is accurate, then Samsung will be the only big Android giant that does not use the on-screen buttons.

For some time now, a lot of consumers have been complaining that on-screen buttons would only reduce screen real estate. But now that phone displays go as much as 6-inches, that may not be noticeable at all.

In addition, handsets with slimmer bezels are slowly taking over so it's just a matter of time until all smartphones use the on-screen buttons feature.

For people who plan to get the upcoming HTC One M8, is this what you are hoping for?
