Android 4.4 Kit Kat Release Date Soon Rolling Out On These Samsung Phones, Include Galaxy S3, Note 2, Midrange Handsets And Devices

The Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date for several Samsung devices have already been confirmed according to a tech news site.

In a report by Phandroid, the latest Android version is coming to a number of Samsung handsets as reported by a source 'close to the matter'.

The list includes some devices released in 2012 including the flagship Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2 phablet. There are also several Samsung smartphones which were released last year that would get Android KitKat.

These phones include the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy Mega, and the Galaxy S3 Mini. Meanwhile, a couple of tablets have also appeared in the list - the Galaxy Note 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.

According to the report, because most of these devices have different versions for different regions wherein they were released, it might be difficult for Samsung to release the update all at once. That means, the Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date may roll out gradually in the coming weeks.

While the report did not mention exact release dates, at least we all know that these devices would get updated to the latest Android version.
