"The last handful of games on this trip, we've got back to the way we need to play," Toews said. "(Anaheim is) a tough team to do that to, and we have to feel good about what we were able to accomplish."

Chicago has won the first two meetings this season, scoring five goals in both games and winning one of those in a shootout.

Patric Kane's 63 points (27 goals, 36 assists) lead the Blackhawks, and Quenneville will have to alter his lines in Kane's absence due to attending his grandfather's funeral.

"Kaner gives you so many different looks and options," Quenneville told ESPN.com. "We'll probably move (Brandon) Saad up (to the second line) and see what he does there. (Brandon) Pirri might get some power-play time. It's a good opportunity for some guys to get some more quality ice time."

Phoenix is slightly outside the playoff-race but has been in it much all season. The Coyotes look for a big victory with another game against Dallas tomorrow.

"We're searching, talking about it," forward Lauri Korpikoski said in the Arizona Republic. "Just consistency is the biggest thing in this League. You do the same thing night after night. If we had the answer, we'd fix it but it just hasn't been there. We gotta keep working on it. We got two more games here, and hopefully we can get some points here and feel good about ourselves going into the Olympic break."
