Buy Google Glass online: The AR lens from the tech giant is not expected to be released until later this year. Only a few select members of the Glass Explorer Program can purchase the device for $1,500 each plus tax. The Mountain View tech giant, however, has since relaxed the rules on selling the devices. Thanks to more lenient policy, the device can now be purchased ahead of its release date at around $1,500 to 4,000 each.

The International Digital Times has cited below several places where you can purchase the Google Glass online.

Amazon

Google Glass Explorer Edition headsets are now available at the online retailer’s website. There are numerous Glasses to choose, both new and used, beginning at $1,500. Several colors of the eyewear is also available on the website.

Craigslist

Some of the earliest listed Google Glasses being resold was spotted in Los Angeles and New York Craigslist. A quick search on Craigslist New York yields 2,000 results, says the International Digital Times. Google Glass related products for sale include invitation codes and brand new headsets.

It is helpful to apply caution when purchasing from this outlet, as it is not as regulated as others.

eBay

The International Digital Times noted that there are more than a thousand results for Google Glass on eBay. The choices says the tech site is more credible than the ones found on Craigslist. Some of the units even offer free shipping and immediate delivery. Google Glass headsets and invite codes can be purchased from the site. Glass prescription lens frame are on the site available for purchase at $295.

Analysts speculate that Google Glass will hit the markets sometime in 2014. It’s expected to cost around $600 once it’s released, similar to the price point of a high-end smartphone.
