Paul Walker Movie 'Brick Mansions' Release Date Confirmed! Proceeds To Be Donated To 'FF7' Star's Charity In Honor Of His Death

Paul Walker's movie 'Brick Mansions' release date has been officially confirmed by Relativity Media. The thriller film is scheduled to hit cinema screens on April 25.

In 'Brick Mansions', Walker will be playing the role of an undercover cop who's doing his best to ruin the path of a Detroit-based crime lord. He will similarly go to a tenement aptly named 'Brick Mansions' wherein he will try to disarm a ticking neutron bomb.

Walker reportedly finished the filming of the scenes three days before he got killed in a car crash last November. Sci-fi film 'Earth to Echo' was originally slated for an April 25-release but to honor Walker's memory, it has been pushed back to July.

Relativity Media's CEO Christophe Lambert believes that 'Brick Mansions' will be a hit because of its major portrayal of the late actor:  "Paul is the big movie star in our movie - it is built around him. Paul is in about 80% of the scenes. For sure it's going to be one of the last big movies of his life and it's Paul at his best."

Just like how 'Hours' donated a portion of its proceeds to Walker's charity Reach Out Worldwide, 'Brick Mansions' will share the cost of the film's worldwide premiere to the charity.

Apart from the Camille Delamarre-directed 'Brick Mansion', Walker's 'Fast and Furious 7' is similarly scheduled for an April release thought it will come out 15 days earlier. When Walker died, over 60 percent of the film's seventh franchise has been finished already.

Several rumors have come out as to how the producers of the racing film would finish the scenes without Walker. Some speculate that the 40-year-old actor's younger brother Cody will be enlisted to serve as his double. Using innovative computer imagery has been linked as well to Walker's final scenes in the movie.
