Nexus 7 Release Date For Verizon Is Finally Here, Arrives On February 12 At $349.99 For 32GB Edition

After months of waiting, Nexus 7 release date for Verizon is finally set - February 12.

Launched back in 2013, the Asus-made Nexus 7 is one of the lesser popular Nexus devices from Google last year. It may boast some impressive specs, but it encountered tight competition against the dirt-cheap Android slates with the same dimensions.

According to a new report by Android Community, the 7-inch Android slate will finally arrive to Verizon starting at $249.99 off-contract with a 2-year commitment.

On the other hand, there is also the off-contract price of $349.99 for the Nexus 7 32GB edition.

In case you are not sure whether to get this tablet or not, the Nexus 7 (2013) boasts a 7-inch screen with 1920 x 1020 resolution, a quad-core Krait CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera and a 1.2MP front cam.

The tablet also supports 4G LTE, and comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. Of course, consumers would be able to upgrade it to 4.4 KitKat via OTA.
