Sony Sirius Image Shows A Simple But Gorgeous-Looking Lock Screen, Mixes Android KitKat And Sony's UI Perfectly

Sony Sirius has been catching up with the rumors as another leaked image of the device appears on the Web.

Yesterday, several leaked images of the camera interface of upcoming device Sony Sirius made the rounds on the Internet, showing its ability of capturing 15.5MP images at 16:9. Now, a new image surfaces, this time giving us a glimpse of the device's lock screen.

From the looks of it, Sony is still keeping its own styles and designs in spite getting the latest Android version, which is 4.4 KitKat. As compared to the Xperia Z1's lockscreen, the one from Sony Sirius has redesigned the lock screen while still allowing users to see the album art of songs that are playing in the background.

One major change though is that the seek of these songs are now visible, enabling the user to pick any part of the song that is currently playing. The navigation buttons are still there, and a camera icon is placed at the button. We don't know whether that's the only option or users can change that to access their most favorite or used app on the fly.

The Sony Sirius is expected to make a grand entrance during Sony's press event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Previous rumored specs about the device include a 5.2-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a quad-core 2.3GHz CPU with Qualcomm-made chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel camera, 2.1MP front cam, and Adreno 330.

MWC is just in a couple of weeks so we'll soon see what Sony has in store for us when it announces the Sirius.
