He scored 22 points and James had a team-high 26 against Golden State (31-21) at home on Jan. 2, but Stephen Curry had 36 points -- going 8 for 15 from long range -- and 12 assists, while David Lee had 32 points and 14 rebounds in the Warriors' 123-114 victory, according to NBA.com.
"One of the best shooters this NBA will see," James said of Curry. "I mean, if you can find a better shooter than him right now, especially with the way he handles the ball -- and the light that he has, it's more than green, it's fluorescent -- you just hope that he misses."
"It's a good experience against a championship-caliber team," Curry said after the victory. "They know how to get it done so to come in here and play the way we did, it shows we're on the right path."
David Lee will play center as Andrew Bogut is out for the immediate future. He's coming off a double-double performance where he dropped 13 and 13 over the 76ers.
"I was glad I could go give some minutes and get my wind back a little bit for (the Heat) game," Lee said. "I know we were really shorthanded (at center) so that's part of the reason I came back a little bit earlier than I thought I was going to."
