The Wanted Breakup Becomes Official? Nathan Sykes Twitter Post Hints He’s Set To Release Solo Album

The Wanted's breakup seems to be officially complete as band member Nathan Sykes hinted in a Twitter post about a possible solo career.

According to entertainmentwise.com, the former boyfriend of Ariana Grande tweeted: "Today is a day for making music."

Following the official announcement of the band splitting, Nathan posted on Instagram a message which read:

"We have had the most fun and every moment is down to you guys! However, I must take this moment to say that nobody is to blame for any decision we have come to and we are so grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way. I can't wait for the tour to celebrate everything The Wanted has achieved and to see you all in the future!! Much love."

The Wanted's breakup spilled over to the press more than they wanted it to. The breakup even turned nasty between Max George and Siva Kaneswaran for the former's tell-all interview with The Sun a couple of weeks ago.

In that interview, Max George said there was a "lot of tension" between the boys and "our personal lives drove us apart."

Clearly, Siva Kaneswaran didn't take kindly to those comments as he told MailOnline that he was shocked with those statements.

"We all had a phone call and gave our personal thoughts on where we wanted to go and we released a statement. And the statement is what we all agreed on, so it was quite a shock to have that recent article come out from Max, for me and the fans because we found out at the same time," Siva Kaneswaran said.

"I wouldn't say he betrayed us but he didn't communicate enough with us. There was a major lack of communication. It was disappointing, that's all it was," he added.

In an attempt to explain his side, Max George took to Twitter, writing that his interview "was not in anyway dishonest."

Although Max George admitted that the feud with Siva Kaneswaran could be due to miscommunication, "but in my eyes nothing has changed, my love for the boys."
