‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 9 Spoilers: The Mother’s Name Is A Secret, Even To Cristin Milioti; On ‘CIA-Level Lockdown’

"How I Met Your Mother" season 9 is drawing to a close, but one thing fans are still wondering is: what is The Mother's name? Spoilers reveal that even Cristin Milioti, who plays The Mother on "How I Met Your Mother" season 9, has no idea.

Production of the final episode of "How I Met Your Mother" is underway, but Milioti reveals that few spoilers are likely to leak.

"It exists, but I have not glimpsed it," Cristin Milioti admitted to Entertainment Weekly. "There's been discussion. It's CIA-level lockdown. Our scripts are watermarked, and it feels really cool."

What's another secret that's being kept under wraps, even to Milioti? Her character's name.

When asked if she knew The Mother's name, she replied: "I don't."

"I don't know if it's because they think I'm a terrible liar, but no, I have not been told that. It's very much on lockdown," she added.

Despite the secrets, Milioti assures fans not to worry about the "How I Met Your Mother" finale, which is set to air Monday, March 31.

"I know this sounds like an executive from CBS is passing me a piece of paper, but [the finale] will not disappoint," she said. "It's been in great hands for nine years, and they love their fans. I think everyone's going to really love the finale."

But some names were revealed in season 9: Ted's kids!

In episode "Unpause," we learned the names of Ted's kids in the last few minutes: a flash forward shows Ted and the Mother in 2017, with the happy couple leaving for the hospital to deliver their second child, IGN reports. We learned Ted's kids are named Penny and Luke.
