Install Android 4.4 KitKat Update On Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0; Custom Firmware CyanogenMod 11 Available For Various Variants Of The Tablet

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 users who wish to experience the latest Google mobile OS can now install Android 4.4 KitKat update.

A custom firmware based on Android 4.4 KitKat update is available for the Samsung tablet. As posted on GSM Arena, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 was released in April 2012. It originally runs Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich but can be officially upgraded to 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

However, adventurous Android users can opt for a more advanced mobile operating system by installing Android 4.4 KitKat update using the unofficial CyanogenMod 11 firmware.

The Android 4.4 KitKat update can be installed on various variants of the tablet. Particularly, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with model numbers P3110, P3100 and P313 can be installed with the Android 4.4 KitKat via the custom ROM, the CyanogenMod 11, according to a post on AndroidPIT.
