iPhone 6 Rumors: Leaked Shots Of New iPhone's Casing Surface, Confirm Larger Frame And Gets iPad Air Design

As the iPhone 6 rumors rush in, several leaked images of the phone's frame appeared online. And from what we can see, it looks like some rumors, at least those which claim a bigger screen, are correct.

In a report by GSM Arena, the leaked images were posted on Twitter by Sonny Dickson and were initially reported on by 9to5mac. From the looks of it, the new Apple handset will indeed have a much larger screen - probably at 4.7 or 4.8-inch. However, that's not the only screen size variation we have heard.

Rumors from previous months have also been pointing to a phablet-size iPhone 6 with a screen that has up to 5.7 inches of real estate. Of course we haven't seen the latter version in any leaked shots, but this one might have just confirmed the 4.7-8-inch version.

From the leaked shots, we see another interesting feature - the iPhone 6 looks like a smaller version of the iPad Air. Of course we all know that the iPad Air (iPad 5) has done very well in its target market, but borrowing its design for the next iPhone might be too much.

Of course all of these are mere leaked shots and who knows if they are shopped. We just have to keep our fingers crossed.

UPDATE:

We're sorry to burst your bubble folks, but apparently these images were shopped. A guy named Martin Hajek, who is known for real-life looking concept designs, was the one responsible for the images.
