Chuck Series Return Still Possible? Josh Schwartz Creator Looking At The Idea After Being Inspired By Veronica Mars. Know More Details About It Here

NBC’s spy series Chuck, which stars Zachary Levi for the title role and Yvonne Strahovski, had a successful five-year run on TV, years marked by suspensions, writer’s revolt, and fans’ epic campaign for season renewals. Two years since it was finished, the show has kept fans thinking if there will ever be another chapter on the Chuck Bartowski-Sarah Walker love story. This is because of the way the show has ended their five-year relationship. Fans cannot accept that with all the hardships and obstacles that the couple went through, the two protagonists will end up stranger to each other.

For Chuck enthusiasts out there, get yourself ready and might as well, prepare to again mount a campaign as show’s co-creator Josh Schwartz revealed that they are looking into the possibility of the series’ return. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Schwartz said that the Castle and Buy More might be back.

“It certainly came up after the Veronica Mars news surfaced and all of a sudden that being a viable thing. What it really comes down to is what is the story you want to tell. I know in the case of Veronica Mars, they had a whole plan for that fourth season that they didn’t get. So the story was not complete. Whatever it is, you want the chance to tell that story,” he said.

We were very fortunate with Chuck. As much as we always felt the end was coming, we did get five seasons of the show and an opportunity to tell a lot of story. So I think for myself and Chris Fedak, I think we’d really wanna make sure we had the right story to tell and felt like we were doing it because “Oh my God this Chuck movie is going to be amazing!” That’s the test. Does it feel like you must do this because the audience is going to love this new take?

Schwartz also talked about the cliffhanger they left in the season finale wherein Sarah’s memory of his spy life and Chuck was erased.

“You’re starting off with a question to answer certainly, and it’s a spy story so there’s always a new a mission, there’s always a new bad guy, there’s always a new need for Chuck to save the day.”
