Dakota Fanning And Sister Elle Fanning Now Fashion Icons? ‘Maleficent’ Actress Dons Smart-Casual While Big Sis Earns Anna Wintour’s Approval

Dakota Fanning and sister Elle Fanning seems to be Hollywood's budding fashion icons. While the "Maleficent" actress was wearing her own take of a smart-casual during an outing in Beverly Hills, her elder sister Dakota got the stamp of approval from the ice fashion queen herself, Anna Wintour.

Dakota Fanning was treated to a quick education while sitting at the front row beside Vogue editor Anna Wintour during the Rodarte in New York during the New York Fashion Week on Tuesday.

Dakota Fanning was wearing a nude pink gown that showed a lot of cleavage along with a waterfall hem skirt, according to sugarscape.com. The "Maleficent" star's big sister's makeup was also nude while she kept her blonde locks straight and untouched.

The Rodarte collection featured various pieces with the Star Wars theme, the website added.

Elle Fanning, meanwhile, was spotted outside one of the boutiques of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills wearing a oversized white shirt and cream skirt which showed off her long legs and paired with pixie boots, consistent with her smart, casual and edgy style.

Elle Fanning's fashion sense has certainly turned heads as she was earlier tapped by Miu Miu to be the face of the brand. Miu Miu also revealed its new ad campaign showing the "Maleficent" star wearing a floral frock and mustard yellow tights accented with red platforms.

"We can only imagine how ecstatic she must be modeling for one of her favorite brands," E! columnist Jennifer Chan wrote after the endorsement was announced, adding that the ad "is already getting a lot buzz from other online outlets, and we can totally see why."

Meanwhile, her elder sister, Dakota Fanning, isn't too far behind in terms of endorsements as she was tapped to be the new face of Uniqlo for the spring/summer 2014 collections.

Though Dakota Fanning is more famous of the sisters as she already has 51 films under her sleeves including "War of the Worlds" and "Man on Fire," "Maleficent" star Elle Fanning seems to be catching up with her popularity.

In fact, Elle Fanning has four big movie projects this year including "Maleficent" where she shares the screen with Angelina Jolie and animated film "The Boxtrols."

Both actresses, however, worked together was for an ad campaign for J. Estina's Brilliant Princess.
