Oscar Pistorius Case Update: Is Bladerunner Admitting To His Crime? Olympic Runner Posts Valentine's Day Message For His Late Girlfriend

A few words from my heart on https://www.oscarpistorius.com - this is how South African sprint runner introduced a message he wrote for her girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, who he 'allegedly' killed on Valentine's Day last year. This tweet is also his first since the murder news broke out.

The Bladerunner wrote on his website:

14 February 2014

No words can adequately capture my feelings about the devastating accident that has caused such heartache for everyone who truly loved - and continues to love Reeva.

The pain and sadness - especially for Reeva's parents, family and friends consumes me with sorrow.

The loss of Reeva and the complete trauma of that day, I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Before the Valentine's Day Horror, Pistorius is viewed as a source of inspiration for many because of the way he has achieved great things despite the difference in physical condition. Before the night of the murder, the 27-year old athlete posted on his twitter account asking "What do you have up your sleeve for your love tomorrow?", referring to a Valentine's Day present for her girlfriend. What took place after surprised not just her girlfriend but also the whole world.

The 30-year-old woman was found dead at the Paralympic and Olympic star's house in the Silverlake. The victim was found in the bathroom with her own blood. Pistorius insisted that he mistaken Reeva as an intruder, reason why he deliberately shot whoever was behind the door.

Pistorius is out on bail and his murder trial will start on March 3, to be covered by a South African channel round-the-clock. He faces life imprisonment with a minimum of 25 years before parole if ever charged guilt of premeditated murder.
