Drake Tells Twitter He’s `Disgusted’ Over Losing Rolling Stone Cover to Philip Seymour Hoffman; What Is Up With These Canadian Bad Boys?

Drake slammed Rolling Stone magazine on Twitter over losing the cover to Philip Seymour Hoffman. What is up with these Canadian bad boys? What with Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking so much crack that they turned him into an action figure and Justin Bieber doing all that Justin Bieber stuff.

Canada used to be known as the home turf of Michael J. Fox, Martin Short and Cory Haim. Okay, maybe Cory Haim isn't the best example. But Canadians were always nice and non-threatening. Now we got Drake 'disgusted' at Rolling Stone for replacing him with a Philip Seymour Hoffman cover.

TMZ says Rolling Stone told Drake's people that the cover was replaced last Friday. On Feb. 13, Drake told Twitter "I'm disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil."

The Canadian Rapper took to Twitter to vow that he's done with magazine interviews. Drake was also upset at a misrepresentation of one of his quotes about Kanye West in the Rolling Stone piece.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, tweeted Thursday: "They ... took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue."

Drake deleted two of the three tweets.

Rolling Stone put out a teaser of the Drake interview that included the rapper's take on the text apology that Macklemore sent Kendrick Lamar after the Grammys and some negative comments Drake might or might not have made about Kanye West's Yeezus.

Talking about the Kanye West quote, Drake took to Twitter to say "I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone. They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue."

Rolling Stone responded to Drake's tweets by putting out the interview, with Jonah Weiner, online. Including Drake's gushing praise for all things Yeezus, saying "Kanye's the reason I'm here. I love everything about that guy."
