Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Midrange Lumia 1320 Arriving In UK Carriers And Retailers On February 24, Packs 6" Screen, Dual-Core CPU, 5MP Shooter

After launching in India several weeks ago, one of the upcoming Nokia phones for 2014 will finally hit UK stores.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Nokia Lumia 1320 midrange handset is on its way to the UK, and will hit carriers and retailers on February 24.

The announcement came from Conor Pierce, Vice President of Nokia for the UK and Ireland. Here's what he has to say:

"We are building on the continued success of the Lumia range by looking to offer the latest Windows Phone in a large-screen smartphone format at a highly competitive price...Consumers and particularly businesses will love its large screen, warm industrial design and the richer imaging experience it is able to deliver. The Nokia Lumia 1320 brings a cost effective addition to our large screen Windows Phone portfolio."

In case you have not heard about the Nokia Lumia 1320, it is the midrange brother of the flagship Lumia 1520. It boasts the same 6-inch screen with a lower resolution at 720p, a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, a 5-megapixel primary camera, 0.3MP front facer, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

The Windows Phone-powered handset also has microSD card slot, a 3,400mAh battery and some cool Nokia apps and features to make the deal sweeter.

While there are no pricing details yet, this handset will definitely be a great option for new Windows Phone users who want more features than the highly popular Lumia 520.
