Once Upon A Time Season 3 Spoilers: Less Ariel, More Glinda As JoAnna Garcia Swisher Joins ABC Series, New promo Hypes Mid-Season Premiere And The Descent Of The Wicked Witch!

As "Once Upon a Time" season 3 prepares for its mid-season premiere, spoilers regarding future of Ariel and newcomer have surfaced.

First, spoilers confirm that Ariel's presence on "Once Upon a Time" season 3 may be more limited now that actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher has joined another series.

Wet Paint reports that Swisher will star in the new ABC drama "Astronaut Wives Club" as Betty, the wife of one of the original astronauts involved in the 1960s space race.

Which is not to say Ariel is forever gone from "Once Upon a Time," as Swisher herself has confirmed she will make an appearance in the second half of season 3.

"Ariel's coming back, and I may have found my prince charming, but I think that you might need a little naïve mermaid to come back in town, maybe stir up some business," teases Swisher during an interview with E! Online.

Meanwhile, a new cast member will be joining "Once Upon a Time" season 3 as the iconic Glinda.

Spoilers by EW reports that actress Sunny Mabrey ("The Client List") will be joining Rebecca Mader in the second half of "Once Upon a Time" season 3. But while Mader is set to play the Wicked Witch, Mabrey will play the "elegant, warm, and benevolent" Glinda the Good Witch.

Along with Rapunzel, Lumiere, and several other new casting spoilers, it seems "Once Upon a Time" season 3 will hit a new gear when it returns March 9.

Recently, a new promo for "Once Upon a Time" season 3 is showcasing the rivalry between the Wicked Witch and Evil Queen.
