‘Thor 3’ Plot Spoilers; Chris Hemsworth Wants A More Poweful Thunder God! On Fire Demons And Surtur - 'Bring Them All In!'

"Thor 3" was predictably confirmed and Chris Hemsworth will reprise the role. The Aussie actor is excited about the sequel and he wants the character to be more "god-like." He's also willing to take on the biggest and scariest villains of the Nine Realms!

Chris Hemsworth talked with Screenrant, and they discussed the future of his franchise. "Thor: The Dark World" was a big hit, although it lagged behind "Man Of Steel" and "Iron Man 3" in the 2013 Super Hero Sweepstakes.

Chris was asked about how Thor 3 would relate in terms of the continuing Marvel Cinematic Universe. From Screenrant: "I think what's good about this is that each time, with the Avengers, we sort of made it difficult to separate them each time there's some sort of conflict it's like where's the rest of the team? And I liked that Thor has another universe or the universe to sort of take care of and keep him occupied. I think that in the comic book the sort of end of days, Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in. Where it's sort of the end of all things and there's obviously no script or anything when I read the comic books I thought it was an interesting way to go."

The hints were all over the previous films: The tree of Yggdrasil was shown: "And the effects and woes and success of the universe are spoken through this, this living object.  So, should the end of all things ever come this would probably be the first thing to fall."

If Marvel pursues the Armageddon (or Ragnarok) storyline, that will lead to the appearance of the Fire Demons and Surtur, the biggest and scariest foe of Asgard: "Yeah (laughs) bring them all in."

Of course, Thor will need to showcase his own heavy artillery: "It was one of my first concerns at the beginning of the film. I said, 'look I don't want him to feel he's just doing hand to hand combat he's a God we should see him off the ground more and we should see the power of that weapon and his abilities.'  So that was something we really concentrated on upping the action and the stunts and his skillset, really showcasing what he's capable of."

Another big tease is that Asgard is home to the Tesseract, something the Avengers have fought for. They are unlikely to just give it away or let it fall into the wrong hands. Will Thor 3 feature a grand Marvel Super Hero team up to save Asgard?
