Moto G Phone With LTE And Code-Named 'Peregrine' Arriving To At&T As Reported By Benchmarking App, Could Cost Below $200

The Moto G Phone is one of the most affordable handsets in the market today. Now reports claim that it will soon be arriving to AT&T.

Regarded as the top 'bang-for-your-buck' Android handset today, the Moto G certainly packs what most people would need in a smartphone. A decent-looking display, midrange CPU and chipset, 5MP of camera, 3G support and Android 4.4 KitKat all contribute to make it one of the most popular handsets today.

But in case you're on AT&T and probably wondering when the Motorola smartphone will arrive to your carrier, then this could be your lucky day.

According to a report by GSM Arena, GFX Bench has recently benchmarked a device that lists the Moto G specs, but it has a different model number - XT1045, and nickname - Peregrine.

In the benchmark's database, the phone allegedly supports LTE. If this is indeed a Moto G variant, then this would surely pique the interest of LTE fans. But how did they know that it is bound for AT&T?

The Android build name peregrine_att, which was also spotted in the system details, confirms this.

Of course nothing is official yet so we still want to keep our fingers crossed until both either AT&T or Motorola make an official announcement.
