CW Network Shows ‘Arrow’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’, And MORE To Have Brand New Seasons; ‘Star Crossed’ And ‘The 100’ To Join Network’s Fantasy Line-Up

One of the reasons why the CW Network is famous is its array of fantasy series. With the consistent support of its viewers, the network has announced its official season renewals.

As per the CW Network's announcement, 'The Vampire Diaries', 'Arrow', 'Supernatural', 'Reign', and 'The Originals' will have brand new episodes.

This season we've had great success with our new hit series 'The Originals' paired with 'Supernatural', giving us our best Tuesday nights in years. 'The Vampire Diaries' is No. 2 in its time period in the young adult demos, and with 'Arrow' continuing to gain among young men, and 'Reign' growing in its time period, we now have strong nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday," said CW's president Mark Pedowitz.

'Arrow' remains to be the most-watched fantasy series of the network followed by 'The Vampire Diaries'. Its spin-off series, 'The Originals', has proven to be successful as well.

New series will likewise be introduced for the young-adult segment of the network's audience. 'Star-Crossed' is "about an epic romance between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind are integrated into a suburban high school 10 years after they landed on Earth and were consigned to an internment camp."

Its first episode, 'These Violent Delights Have Violent Ends', will premiere on February 17.

On the other hand, 'The 100' is a futuristic series based on a post-apocalyptic novel. 'Pilot', its first episode, will air on March 19.
