Install Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update On Samsung Galaxy S4: Test Firmware XXUFNAD Appeared Online For LTE Variant With Model Number GT-I9505

Samsung Galaxy S4 users can now install Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update on their smartphones using a test firmware that recently leaked online.

The details about the official release  of the latest KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S4 has not been made yet by the South Korean tech manufacturer. However, with the test firmware that appeared online, Samsung Galaxy S4 users can now install Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on their device and experience the latest operating system from Google.

According to the Australian Edition of International Business Times, the test firmware based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is compatible with the International LTE variant of Samsung Galaxy S4. Particularly, these version bears the model number GT-I9505.


Moreover, the test firmware first appeared on SamMobile and accordingly, it "brings some minor user interface changes, including the white status-bar icons instead of the multi-color icons found in all Samsung devices." Also, this is the second test firmware that appeared online for the same variant of Samsung Galaxy S4. Reportedly, the first Android 4.4.2 test firmware was leaked for the GT-I9505 units last month.
