During the company's event in the Asian country, as posted on Engadget, the console maker revealed that the PlayStation 4 release date in Japan is set for February 22.

Furthermore, as posted on Epoch Times, citing Eurogamer, PS4's lead architect and Knack creative director, Mark Cerny shared, "Sony just wants to make sure that when PlayStation 4 launches in Japan there is a good line-up of titles for Japan.
