Gabrielle Union And Dwayne Wade Marriage Date Set, NBA Star Girlfriend Shares Wedding Tidbit On Ellen DeGeneres Show

Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade Marriage Date is set!

The NBA player fiancé announced her soon-to-be wedding when she appeared on Ellen DeGeneres Show recently. Though the couple are keeping the day and date under the wrap, a very exuberant Union went about sharing her wedding gusto with the celebrity host.

Just at the start of the show, Ellen went straight to the point and asked her "You're engaged. You're getting married soon, do you know how soon?"

"I know how soon. We haven't really shared that part," replied the 'Think Like A Man' actress. She then went on to divulge amusing details about how the NBA champion has immersed himself into planning the nitty-gritty details of the wedding.

"He's waited for this for a long time. He's been hoarding bridal magazines. He's very ready."

Dwayne's level of involvement in wedding planning details can be gauzed by the 41-year old actress' statement "'He is on it (such as) to have a centerpiece to not have a centerpiece. He does not (want one). Who cares? He does."

Gabrielle looked chic and radiant in a violet short-dress and chatted at length about how she dozes off while watching Nashville and Dwayne's insistence on good night kiss. The actress also commented upon the 9-year age gap between her and her fiancé, saying being the older one, she prefers O'Jays and Patti LaBelle to play at the wedding, while Dwayne's choices drift to Young Yeezy and Ariana Grande.  

On whether it is going to be a grand wedding or an intimate do, Gabrielle was quick to respond ''I think people are thinking it's a lot bigger than it is. They will find out.'

A small wedding, immaculately planned by the groom - that for now summarizes Dwayne Wade Gabrielle Union's much awaited nuptial. Their relationship went through a lot of thick and thin in the past few months, the most recent being the media furor over Dwayne Wade New Baby with Aja Metoyer.
