Fight Club 2 Movie News: Chuck Palahnuik Reveals Interesting Information About The Sequel’s Story - ‘Tyler Reemerges To Terrorize Their Lives’

Fight Club 2 movie news; The release date is reportedly scheduled on 2016, more than 15 years following the first film.  Fury movie star Brad Pitt is about to work with Edward Norton again to reprise their roles on the movie.

In 1999, a movie adaptation of Palahnuik's novel about Tyler Durden and the club that he created made it to the big screen. It has been announced that a sequel to the hit movie is now in the works and it will be released on the big screen sometime in 2016.

In an interview with Hustler Magazine, Chuck revealed some interesting information about the planned sequel:

"The sequel will be told from the-- at first-- submerged perspective of Tyler Durden as he observes the day-to-day tedium of the narrator's life.  Because 20th Century-Fox created the convention of calling the protagonist Jack, I'm calling him Cornelius.  He's living a compromised life with a failing marriage, unsure about his passion for his wife.  The typical midlife bullshit.  Likewise, Marla is unsatisfied and dreams of accessing the wild man she'd once fallen in love with.  She tampers with the small pharmacy of drugs that her husband needs to suppress Tyler, and-- go figure-- Tyler reemerges to terrorize their lives."

Chuck also divulged his inspiration and how he was able to come up with the sequel:

"The sequel has been percolating in my mind for years.  My only worry is about presenting it in the form of a graphic novel.  The medium shapes the messages, and I'll be relearning how to tell stories.  My tendency is to hold the entire plot in my mind until I'm afraid of forgetting it.  Once I start writing, I can't stop.  That feverish, ill-fed, exhausting stint of writing in the only part of the process that I fear."

Much to fans delight, "Fury" movie star Brad Pitt and Edward Norton will be returning to the planned sequel. However, the two actors are still busy with their previous engagement, thus production will most likely start in 2015.

Whether the rest of the actors from the first installment of Fight Club will also be back with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton has yet been announced. However, fans of the graphic novel will surely be glad to know that Pitt will still be on the film.
