'Fantastic Four' Reboot Cast Rumors: Michael B. Jordan As Johnny Storm, Kate Mara As His Sister? Full Cast Finally Revealed!

The "Fantastic Four" reboot movie has completed its cast. Most of the rumors ended up true, and the unnamed 'sources' have scored against the studios again.

Kate Mara has been in the rumor mill for the Sue Storm AKA Invisible Woman role (previously played by Jessica Alba) for weeks, and it has finally been confirmed through a report from Variety. The report also confirmed the other two actors for the remaining Fantastic Four: Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm AKA The Thing and Miles Teller AKA Mr. Fantastic. The report from Variety:

"Mara recently closed a deal to play play Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman. While no offer is out yet, Bell is expected to be tapped to play Ben Grimm/The Thing. Teller has an offer to play Reid Richards/Mr. Fantastic, but deal points are a little further away from being completed."

Now that Mara has been confirmed as Sue Storm, we can now ask the burning question. From Screenrant:

"..given that Jordan is black and Mara is white, has screenwriter Simon Kinberg outright abandoned the traditional brother-sister relationship between the pair - or does he have a different explanation in mind (such as adoption)?"

The casting of Miles Teller and Kate Mara are not surprises anymore. They have been in the rumor mill for quite some time now. Despite the personal denials of Director Josh Trank, the rumor sites seem to have 'reliable sources.'

There has been some controversy over the plot of the "Fantastic Four" reboot. Most of the rumors centered on an alleged plot synopsis that claimed there was a new origin of the Fantastic Four wherein they were not actually a family. This rumor has been debunked by Director Josh Trank in his Twitter account.

After the cast is complete, the villains and other characters have to be filled out, as well as the plot, and of course, the answer to the burning question.
