Are the rumors that Katie Holmes is dating Jamie Foxx true? A new report claims Tom Cruise's ex wife is keeping her new relationship with Jamie Foxx quiet, to respect their recent divorce.

The New York Post reports that Holmes, 35, and Foxx, 46, have been seeing each other and quietly dating since last summer. Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx reportedly spent time together in New York during the Super Bowl weekend, according to Fox News.

"Foxx's beautiful daughter Corinne was his date for the Grammys. But he and Holmes also spent time together during Super Bowl weekend, although they attended the game separately," a source told The New York Post.

The pair, who previously denied they were dating, are reportedly keeping their relationship quiet out of respect to Tom Cruise, who had a divorce from Katie in July 2012 after six years of marriage. Tom is also friends with Jamie - they starred in 2004's "'Collateral" together.

The source said: "Jamie is being careful because he has a lot of respect for Tom."

Other rumors report that Katie and her seven-year-old daughter with Tom Cruise, Suri, met up with Jaime for a quiet New Year's holiday in Miami, Florida.

But a spokesperson for Katie denied the rumors she's dating Jamie.

Holmes and Foxx were first linked after they were spotted dancing together at Ron Perelman's Apollo in the Hamptons gala last August, The National Ledger reports.

Oscar winner Foxx said at the time: "[The rumors] are 100 percent not true. In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."

He added to ABC News: "I had Colin Powell onstage dancing [too], so they could have said me and Colin Powell were dating."
