Samsung Galaxy S5 release date: The gold revolution is on once more as more flagships are confirmed to get a golden version.  

Just a few days ago, an alleged image of the HTC 'All New One' showcased its golden frame, getting the interest of thousands of HTC and Android fans. Now, another rumor claims the Samsung Galaxy S5 will come in a gold version as well. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, carrier Vodafone has listed a number of upcoming devices which include a golden Galaxy S5. The snapshot of the listing was leaked online, and has spread like wildfire. 

While a gold version will certainly increase Samsung's stakes of getting to the heart of gadget geeks, this is certainly not a surprising move by the Korean manufacturer. 

After Apple rocked the world with its golden iPhone 5s, several mobile manufacturers have launched their own gold versions for current flagships, and Samsung was one of them. 

The tech giant released gold-coated Galaxy S4 models in the Middle East to get the attention of the world, which was then focused on the newly-announced iPhones. 

With HTC and Samsung getting gold versions of their upcoming flagships, would Sony, LG and perhaps Motorola join in?
