Need For Speed Movie Trailer Released: Aaron Paul Draws Inspiration From Steve McQueen Stunts To Approach Dangerous Scenes

On February 19, "Need for Speed" move held its advanced screening in more than 50 theaters across the United States. On the same day, the movie also released a couple of clips to excite their fans.

During the screening in Atlanta, Aaron Paul and co-star Kid Cudi were also present and mingled with fans. At the end of the night, they became kings of Yahoo Movies’ Instagram page. The two actors conquered the Yahoo! Page with candid photos like pose with pizzas, photobombs, and photos with fans.

Screencrush wrote:

"Yahoo Movies debuted one of the new ‘Need for Speed’ clips (shown above), while DreamWorks released a few others, featuring a few members of the cast. And, yes, Michael Keaton is following up his role in the less-than stellar ‘RoboCop‘ remake with this role as the charismatic Monarch, who shouts things like, 'This is gettin’ good!'"

Speaking of ‘getting good’, Aaron Paul is looking good on the clips wherein he was seen driving and doing some dangerous stunts. In an earlier interview, he revealed those stunts were real and did not use any effects.

At the Loews Theater on the Boston Common, the Breaking Bad star said that his co-stars during those scenes are the cars.

“The real challenge was driving the car,” said Paul.

The stunts pay tribute to few other films that prominently featured cars as the main cast. Among these are “Thelma & Louise,” “Vanishing Point,” and “Bullitt” (another classic film to co-star a Mustang). Coincidentally, Paul is also a big fan of Bullitt actor Steve McQueen.

“I was a big fan of Steve McQueen,” Paul told the audience. “He was such a bad-ass.”

Another thing to be excited about the film is the debut of the 2015 Ford Mustang that turns 50 this year.
