iOS 7.1 Release Date: New OS Update For Apple’s Mobile Platform Coming Mid-March; Added Features Incl. Volume Services For Companies, Orgs With Multiple iPhones, iPads

iOS 7.1 release date: Apple’s mobile platform, the iOS 7, is getting an update this March with the upcoming iOS 7.1. Gotta Be Mobile (GBM) reports that the iOS 7.1 is arriving with a new Volume Services feature aimed at corporations and institutions that service a great number of iPhones and iPads.

GBM notes that the iOS 7.1 update for the iPhone and iPad is still in the beta process, but rumors point to a public release date within the next few weeks. Apple and its partners are seemingly preparing the update for arrival. Rumors for the iOS 7.1 release date has been circulating since around February or March and a new report throws its weight behind a March release. The arrival of the unit is expected to be in mid-March.

AppleInsider has also reported that the iOS 7.1 release will arrive this March. It’s a similar claim from a report by 9to5 Mac that says Apple was and may still be intending to release an OS update in the same month. The 9to5 Mac report delves a little further, GBM notes, and says that the update could arrive in and around March 15th. The date specified falls on a weekend, a timeline when Apple does not release public software updates.

BGR also said in their report that the update could arrive sooner than expected and could be as early as February. The recent iOS 7.1 beta 5 update is thought to be the final beta update which points to an imminent iOS 7.1 Gold Master update and public release, GBM reported. The Cupertino tech giant does not confirm dates ahead of time, making an official date unavailable.
