Upcoming Sony Phones 2014: Japanese Company Shows That 'Something Interesting Is Coming' In Teaser Image, Would Xperia Z2 Revive Sony's 'Human Curvature' Design?

Upcoming Sony Phones 2014: Sony does not want to get left behind in the marketing department as it posts a teaser image for its upcoming handset launch at the MWC next week.

And that smartphone would be the upcoming Sony Xperia Z2.

In the report by GSM Arena, the Japanese manufacturer tweeted an image consisting of processed film, some scribbles, and colored ribbons. In the post, Sony hinted that 'something interesting is coming'. Here is the tweet:

So what exactly does this image mean? Well, from our point of view, Sony is really trying to increase the hype of the soon to be announced Xperia Z2 with all those possible hints.

While the processed film does not show much aside from ballet dancers, the scribbles may be trying to provide us more details about the upcoming Sony flagship.

One commenter on GSM Arena even pointed out that Sony may be trying to bring back the 'Human Curvature' design which inspired most of its Xperia handsets back in the day when there was still Sony Ericsson. Those curved lines and scribbles certainly make that a possibility, though we may also be pushing it too hard just to crack the code in this one.

Meanwhile, the colored ribbons and stickers could also point to the color options the Xperia Z2 will arrive in when it hits stores probably in March. Of course, Sony has not mentioned anything about color options, so you should definitely take that with a grain of salt.

It is only a few days away before MWC 2014, and we will be able to finally see this new handset from Sony, and several other interesting phones from various manufacturers around the world.
