Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumors: Spigen Case Listing On Amazon Confirms New Flagship Device Will Have 2 Versions, One With Physical Home Button And The Other Without

Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumors: Yesterday, Vodafone allegedly confirmed that the new Galaxy S5 flagship will have two versions. Now case maker Spigen has spilled the beans as well in a listing on Amazon.

According to a report from GSM Arena, the case maker has posted five colored Galaxy S5 cases on Amazon. And while three of them have the same design, those same cases also show the Galaxy S5 without its traditional physical home button. On the other hand, the remaining two also have identical design but shows the trademark home button from Samsung.

However, when we look it up on the Amazon product listing, all five cases now have the physical home button. So what is it really?

First, it could be that Spigen accidentally spilled the beans earlier than necessary, and was immediately asked by Samsung to redesign the posting so the two versions should come as a 'surprise' at the Galaxy S5 launch next week.

Second, the three renders with no home button could just be an honest mistake from Spigen, which is unlikely given its previous track record in leaking unannounced phones.

But in case the physical home button for this Galaxy S5 version is indeed non existent, one rumor claims that it could be a fingerprint-scanning home button instead which makes sense if you consider previous reports.

Samsung's Unpacked event is just a few days away, and we'll finally see what the Korean tech giant has in store for all of us when it launches the Galaxy S5.
