Upcoming Android Tablets 2014: Huawei MediaPad X1 Appears In More Leaked Images, Rumored Specs Include 7" Full HD Display, Quad-Core CPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP Shooter

Upcoming Android Tablets 2014: In case you are looking for a relatively cheap Android tablet to buy this season, then you better check this one from Huawei.

In a recent report by GSM Arena, several images leaked in Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, showcasing almost everything about the Huawei MediaPad X1's physical features.

From the looks of it, the device certainly looks compact enough in spite having a 7-inch screen, and it has a pretty decent build as well. Aside from the usual Android tablet look, the MediaPax X1 also has a smart cover that is similar to that used by Samsung.

Several days ago, the Huawei tablet recently passed China's equivalent of FCC certification in the US. The filing also revealed most of the slate's specs which include a 7-inch TFT display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, Huawei's own chipset, a quad-core Cortex-A9 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM, and a Mali-450 GPU.

Other features include a 13MP primary camera, 5MP front cam, and probably Android Kitkat out of the box.

The Huawei MediaPad X1 is expected to make its debut at the MWC even in Barcelona starting February 24.
