LG G Flex Release Date: 6" Smartphone With Curved Display And Self-Healing Back Cover To Hit Canada This Spring, Only Available At Rogers

LG G Flex release date: LG's first curved screen device has recently arrived to several markets after its Korean launch, and next in line would be Canada.

According to a recent report by Android Authority, the controversial curved smartphone will hit the Canadian market this spring, but only through carrier Rogers.

The G Flex is indeed a one of a kind device, especially considering its curved shape, and the world's first curved battery. LG claims it has designed the curves to match a person's face.

Unfortunately, the success of the device is halted by its steep pricing. For a device that only bears a 720p screen, its price tag in most markets where it has been released seems like a bad idea.

Still, if you live in Canada and you want to try this device, then you better head to the Rogers Reservation System. In case you are still thinking about it, then here are some of the LG G Flex's key specs to help you decide.

The Android-powered handset packs a 6-inch screen with HD (720p) resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, quad-core CPU running at 2.26GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP primary camera, and a huge 3,500mAh battery.

Another key feature of the G Flex is its self-healing back cover that can make scratches and dents disappear, providing more years for the smartphone.

So are you getting the LG G Flex once it arrives this spring?
