Sims 4 Release Date Rumors: Latest EA Lifestyle Simulation Game Arriving On September 15? SmartSimTechnology Makes ‘Sims Act Realistically’

A more specific "The Sims 4" release date emerges online.

SimsVIP posted about a new rumor hinting a possible Sims 4 release date. Accordingly, Simmers are beginning to her The Sims 4 release date from their friends in retail stores. For instance, the post reads, "Earlier this month, SimCookie visited a friend who works at French retailer Micromania, and was told The Sims 4 is currently slated for the week of September 15th, 2014."

And most recently, a Twitter post from Sims Domination (@SimsDomination) shares that The Sims 4 release date is set for the week of September 15, as revealed by an employee from a retail store in Brazil.

Currently, the official information that EA confirmed regarding The Sims 4 release date is that it will arrive in the market at some point during the fall season of 2014.

Meanwhile, the associate producer for The Sims 4, Graham Nardone, shared more information about the title during an interview with GamesTM. He told, "Realisitcally, when you look at it, being a life simulation, [the game's] about injecting life into our characters. Our new technology in The Sims 4 allows us to do a lot of things that make the Sims act realistically that we simply couldn't achieve in the past."

According to the GamesTM post, the technology is called SmartSim, which "grants the Sims the ability to multitask, engage in real group dynamics, move fluidly and believably and makes their entire life that much more authentic."
