Rihanna Fan Leather Lips Comment Sparks Racism Controversy, Badgalriri Instagram MCM Remains Unaffected, ‘My Lips Are Black And Famous Now’

Rihanna fan leather lips comment triggered racism controversy on different social media platforms after the 'Monster' singer quipped about a budding rapper's dark lips.

As part of her Man Crush Monday #MCM posts on Instagram, Rihanna posted the picture of rapper MC Moeblack, real name Ramon McFarlane, beside a black leather sofa, hinting at analogy between the man's lips and the couch.

The post stirred a storm after a few people commented that BadGalRiRi's post was racially motivated and it was ill-mannered on her part to have done that.

On his part, the new and unknown rapper was least bit affected by the comparison. In fact, he said he was glad to have been mentioned by the 'Diamond singer' who recently celebrated her 26th birthday. He also apparently aspires to collaborate with RiRi in future.

In an interview to the celebrity entertainment news site TMZ, McFarlane said, ""My lips are black as s**t. At least they're black as s**t and famous now. Now I hope people want to know what comes out of [his lips]. Hopefully she will want to collab with me and do music."

McFarlane's sporting spirit cleared off the storm for the 'Pour it Up' artist before it could become nasty. Rihanna is famous for her funny and eccentric ways of looking at things.

The 'Rated-R' singer had a good start to 2014. Her recent song duet with Shakira 'Can't Remember to Forget You,' that was released earlier this year, went down well with the fans.

Last week Rihanna and Eminem announced the 'Monster' tour to celebrate the success of their mega-hit collaboration from MMLP2 in 2013. The 26-year old is also in news over her alleged love affair with rap genius Drake, who according to Hollywood Life, sent romantic Valentine's Day gifts.

In a recent interview to Rolling Stone, Drake is reported to have declared that Rihanna is his ultimate fantasy.

"I mean, I think about it. Like 'Man, that would be good'. We have fun together, she's cool and sh*it. But we're just friends, she's my dog for life," said the 'Nothing was the same' rapper about Chris Brown's ex.
