Jennifer Lawrence Will Take A Break From Acting To Spend Time With Boyfriend Nicholas Hoult? ‘American Hustle’ Actress ‘Deserves’ A Year-Long Rest, Producer Says

Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly planning on taking a year-long break from acting after finishing the "Hunger Games" trilogy, after making eight films in the past 12 months. Jennifer Lawrence may want to spend more time with her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult during her break from movies.

"She's going to have a long break for a year where she won't do anything. It's been non-stop for her and she deserves a rest," the "Silver Linings Playbook" producer Harvey Weinstein told the U.K.'s Sun on Sunday, referring to Lawrence's recent schedule, TIME magazine reports.

Weinstein also defended Jennifer Lawrence's decision to skip the BAFTAs ceremony, despite receiving an award for her role in "American Hustle," Times LIVE reports.

The producer explained: "Jennifer is too nice and will do people favours and agrees to do a movie like 'American Hustle' when she could have had a rest.

"She signed on to do 'Hunger Games' when she was young and wouldn't have realised how much it would dominate her life. But she's a professional and always will be."

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old actress may want to spend more time on herself amid the chaos that is Hollywood, as well as put more time into her relationship with boyfriend Nicholas Hoult; in fact, Hoult helps his famous actress-girlfriend cope with the "whirlwind of Hollywood madness," The Belfast Telegraph reported previously.

"He's so down-to-earth and normal; she really relies on him to keep her sane. He knows exactly how to calm her down. She trusts him," a source told British magazine Heat. "Of all the people she has around her, he's the only one who isn't a yes person. He's straight up with her. She needs someone like that, especially now that her life is a whirlwind of Hollywood madness."

"There are a lot of people genuinely worried about Jennifer," another insider claimed. "She's facing severe burnout from her work schedule and the pressure on her to follow up last year's awards season success is immense, let alone the fact she had three major movies out last year, plus filmed four."

Jennifer and Nicholas, 24, met on the set of "X-Men: First Class" in 2011. They split in January, 2013 after dating for two years, due to their busy schedules. But the two stars bonded again in June while filming "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in Montreal, Hollywood Life reports. They have been dating again since this summer, and recent rumors were circulating that the two might get engaged.
