Upcoming HTC Phones 2014: 5.5" Desire 816 And 4.7" Desire 610 With Midrange Specs Launched At MWC, Pricing Expected To Be Budget-Friendly
Upcoming HTC Phones 2014: We all know that HTC will be launching a new device at MWC in Barcelona, but we didn't expect two of them.
In a report by GSM Arena, the Taiwanese manufacturer has just announced the Desire 816 and the Desire 610, both in the midrange department.
In case you have been looking for a decent device that can provide all of your productivity needs at a lower cost than current high-end phones, then these two midrange HTC phones are ideal options for you.
But first, let's give you some details about both devices.
The Desire 816 is a 5.5-inch tablet with 720p resolution, a quad-core 1.3GHz CPU, Adreno 305, Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is also a 16MP primary camera at the back, and 5MP of front cam, and 2,600mAh of battery.
Meanwhile, the slightly smaller 4.7-inch Desire 610 packs the same qHD display, quad-core CPU running at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory with option for SD storage expansion, just like the Desire 816.
There is an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 1.3MP front facer, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2040mAh battery.
The bigger Desire is set to hit stores in April while the smaller version will arrive to Europe in May.
