Upcoming Asus Phones 2014: Taiwanese Company Launches 2 FonePad 7 Versions At MWC 2014, One Supports LTE, The Other Packs Lower Specs

Upcoming Asus phones 2014: Asus is not known for releasing variations of its current devices, but sure, there is always a first time.

While the Taiwanese manufacturer did not have any big events during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it managed to launch two new devices. However, these two devices are only variations of the FonePad 7 which was first announced at the IFA event in Berlin last year.

Both devices, which are simply dubbed FonePad 7 LTE and FonePad 7 'lite' based on each device's features. The first gets LTE support, which was missing when the original FonePad 7 was launched.

Meanwhile, the second version sticks to 3G connectivity, but gets a downgraded 1.2GHz Intel Atom chipset.

Asus did not reveal availability and pricing details yet, but we'll get you covered once it does.
