‘Batman Vs Superman’ Plot Spoilers: Lex Luthor Gets The Government To Take Down The Man of Steel! Will The Dark Knight Be His Ally

"Batman Vs Superman" has turned out to be a highly anticipated movie. It's not just the cast rumors that has the internet on the alert, it's also intriguing how they will blend them together.

While Zack Snyder and writer David Goyer are given free reins to make their own take at the DC Universe, it is likely that they will be influenced by the comic books and graphic novels.

DC recently released an animated feature on the Justice League which featured character origins. The feature was "Justice League War." While it is unlikely that they will follow the plot verbatim, there would be similar plotlines.

The 'spoilers' are not necessarily rumors from insiders/reliable sources. It is merely an analysis of possible plotlines based on "Justice League War" and what is known so far.

Justice League War is an origin story of how the Justice League was formed. In this context, Batman and Superman do not know each other yet, they recognize each other through their secret identities (as noted in previous plot spoilers where Luthor and Wayne know each other, but Luthor does not know he is Batman).

From What Culture: "This version of Lex Luthor will be a billionaire industrialist and genius who is recruited by the government to investigate Superman following the events of Man Of Steel and figure out a way to take him down. Lex though has a hidden agenda. In the Man Of Steel sequel it's likely Lex Luthor will set a series of traps designed to test Superman to gauge his strengths and weaknesses resulting in him capturing the Man Of Steel.

Cue some gruesome torture scenes where we will see Jesse Eisenberg's Luthor in all his malicious glory. This could be the moment of the film where Batman and Superman meet; with either Batman helping Superman escape or contacting him after he's escaped of his own volition, because Batman has information regarding what Luthor is really up to."

What is intriguing in this plotline is the position of Batman. Apparently, the 'Batman Vs Superman' aspect resulted from confusion. An alien race has attacked Earth, and the heroes become confused before they realize the need to band together.

A group of super heroes fighting each other first before a grave alien threat forces them to come together? Sounds familiar.
